My Wokingham speaks with the founder of Sports Together Berkshire CIC. Steph Johnson, Craig Hunter and Dan Brook to learn more about what the organisation does and how we can help them in their aims. The Sport Together group has formed due to like-minded clubs in Berkshire understanding how powerful clubs working together can be to increase the opportunity for people who face barriers to participating in physical activity. As a group we work together to plan and deliver multi-sport festivals for people with additional needs across Berkshire. Our Palmer Park Easter event was the first festival the group have run with more being planned for the future.

The Sport Together group want each of their festivals to be free for all attendees and to be able to offer a range of sporting opportunities which can lead to local pathways to continue involvement. The group are looking for local businesses to come onboard and support the work we do to ensure we can continue to offer these great festivals in the future.
